OLD ORCHARD BEACH — The Watertown Bucks (4-3) defeated the Old Orchard Beach Surge (2-2) by an 8-3 score on Wednesday night at The Ballpark.
The Surge started off strong, taking an early 2-0 lead in the first with RBIs from Sam DiMatteo and Marshall Betts.
Starting pitcher Tyler Levine tossed five scoreless innings, giving up just three hits and striking out five.
The Bucks’ bats came alive in the sixth, putting seven runs up on the board.
Catcher Tyler Krobetzky led the Surge with three hits on the night.
The next Surge home game is Saturday night at 7 p.m. against the Road City Explorers.
