The new Salt Pump Climbing Co., located on the Haigis Parkway in Scarborough, will open its doors on Thursday, July 30, at 10 a.m. for the first time.

The climbing gym boasts more than 180 routes and boulder problems of the highest quality, but the gym owners ask for patience as they continue installing additional equipment and putting the final touches on the facility.

The schedule is:

• Monday – 2-10 p.m.

• Tuesday and Thursday – 7:30 a.m.-10 p.m.

• Wednesday and Friday – 10 a.m.-10 p.m.

• Saturday and Sunday – 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
