Join the Friends of Quarry Road for the Quarry Road Recreation Area’s Fall Festival off North Street. The public is invited to explore the trails, and learn about winter programs and volunteer opportunities. Activities will include trail walks, a hay bale maze, pumpkin bowling and face painting. Bring a mountain bike and try the new pump track. Also, the Central Maine Ski Club will host its fifth annual 5K Paintball Run Biathlon, beginning at 10:30 a.m. on the Quarry Road trails.
