The University of New England’s Art Gallery, located on the Portland campus, presents “Wonder,” an interdisciplinary exhibition, Wednesday through March 13.
The opening reception will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Feb. 22.
The show includes work by UNE’s Department of Creative and Fine Arts faculty and the faculty and students in non-art disciplines. The groups created paintings, drawings, prints, sculpture, 3D prints, video, photography and mixed-media installation.
Participating artists include Stephen Burt, Luc Demers, Sarah Gorham, Lisa Pixley, Michael Vickery and Tom Whitehead. Faculty and students from non-art disciplines who participated include Matthew Anderson, Michael Arciero, David Pier, Heidi Sistare and Jennifer Tuttle.
The exhibition and opening reception are free and open to the public. The gallery’s hours are 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and 1 to 7 p.m. Thursday.
