BANGOR — Sonja Morse threw a pair of complete games and finished with 15 strikeouts overall as the Thomas College softball team swept a North Atlantic Conference doubleheader from Husson University at O’Keefe Field recently.
In the opener, former Richmond High School standout Lindsy Hoopingarner singled and later scored on a single by Michaella Arsenault.
Hoopingarner was solid behind the plate, throwing out two Husson baserunners.
In the nightcap, Hoopingarner plated a run with an RBI single and scored a run on a two-run double by Molly Carroll.
Hoopingarner was 2-for-3 at the plate as Thomas belted out nine hits.
