Coach’s outlook: The Tigers strength will be strong pitching-catching tandem in Kirsten Lebreux and Brook Davis. The key for us this season is keep improving at the plate with our talented lineup and aggressive base running.
Kennebunk
Coach: Kortney Nedeau
Last year’s record: 3-9
Key returning players: Britney Gregoire, Lindsey Gregoire, Kylie Defeo, and Allie Gregoire, Sydney Waitt
Key newcomers: Christine Jarowicz
Coach’s outlook: We have a young group with our standout senior starter Gabby Harrison down for the season due to elbow surgery that occurred during summer softball. She will attend Merrimack in the fall. We really need to be flexible, play smart and strategic softball and make the very best of every opportunity. Senior Malori Cole will fill in grounding the infield, and the young sophomore and freshman defense will be the ultimate test. Sydney Waitt and Kylie Defeo will be rotating through pitching and, though they aren’t overpowering, they are precise. If we can maintain precision on the mound and limit the number of walks, we are in a good position to play defensive softball and use the bats to pull together some runs. Patience, patience, patience – that will truly be our number one tool.
Massabesic
Coach: Kevin Tutt
Last years record: 6-10
Key Returning players: Sarah Guimond, Sarah Howe, Kyra Cartwright
Key Newcomers: Grace Tutt, Lacey Bean
Coaches Outlook: Still a very young group, only having two seniors on the roster. Looking to continue momentum the program experienced throughout the playoffs last year. Pitching depth should be a positive note, while hopefully we will still be known as a gritty team that won’t overpower you, but will try to outwork you. Team chemistry is a must for this group of young ladies.
Old Orchard Beach
Coach: Amanda Ruel
Last year’s record: 0-16
Key returning players: Morgan Howlett-Brown, Tiffany Leclair, Jennifer Palkovic
Key newcomers: Vanessa Hebert
Coach’s outlook: Another building year, but (we are) going to work hard for at least a win or two. A young team with a lot of passion for the sport. Our time will come.
Sanford
Coach: Mike Bailey

Coach’s outlook: We have many girls that are competing for playing time this spring. Our success is going to be based on our ability to be focused and play together in a very competitive league.
Thornton Academy

Coach’s outlook: Our senior leadership and blend of youth should help TA make the playoffs.
Wells

Coach’s outlook: We are young team with only one senior. Our goals are to be competitive and win enough games to make the playoffs.
