From the Journal Tribune: “The Biddeford High School No. 2 doubles team of Jaaime Plamondon and Justin Masse pulled out a three-set victory, giving the Tigers a 3-2 SMAA boys tennis win over Windham in a battle of undefeated teams on Friday afternoon.”

From the Biddeford-Saco Journal: “Mrs. Helen Curry, R.N.., Public Health nurse, today reminded parents of pre-school children to make sure their youngsters are vaccinated before the first school bell rings next fall. Smallpox vaccinations will be available at the well baby and child clinic next Tuesday, May 3, at 9:30 a.m. in Town Hall, as well as immunization for diphtheria, whooping cough and tetanus.”

From the Biddeford Daily Journal: “Sunday certainly worked the hoodoo on one Edward Guertin, who got drunk, assaulted a fellow citizen, resisted arrest by Officer John Menard, landed in jail and this morning before Recorder Filmore P. Harris, was fined on three counts, these fines amounting to $40.73.”
