SACO — The visiting Windham Eagles got one run on three hits off of Thornton Academy starting pitcher Andy Coleman in the first inning on Thursday – but that was it.
Coleman didn’t allow another hit over the next six innings as the Trojans rallied for a 4-1 win over Windham.
“He struggled in the first inning, then he settled down and ended up striking out five and walking one,” said TA coach Ray Petit.
The Trojans would get RBI singles from both Chase Wescott and Josh LePauloue during a three-run, fourth inning and Ben Lambert drove in a run with a single in the fifth.
Lambert and Luke Chessie both had two hits in the win.
Thornton Academy (7-1) will visit Marshwood at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
