BIDDEFORD — Joe and Pat are reunited. Patricia Carroll Duranceau, 78, of Biddeford, died Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough.

She was born April 23, 1938, in Biddeford, a daughter of Jeremiah and Mary (Conley) Carroll. She was a graduate of Biddeford High School with the Class of 1956. On Jan. 4, 1957, she married Joseph Duranceau at St. Mary’s Church.

Patricia had been employed for over 30 years at Biddeford Savings Bank, where she was best known as the “Banking Lady.” She retired in 2005.

She was truly devoted to her family, and always made sure they were being taken care of. Her smile and Irish eyes were unforgettable.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, in 1991, and a son, John, in 2010.

She is survived by: a son, Brian Duranceau of Biddeford; three daughters, Mary Spang and her husband Michael of Kennebunkport, and Catherine Duranceau and Pamela Duranceau, both of Saco; a daughter-in-law, Lynn Duranceau–Tilley of Saco; five grandchildren, Amara Noel, Ashley Spang, Alyssa Chase, Bradford Duranceau and Taylor Duranceau; four great-grandchildren, Ethan Michael Gouzie, Ayla Lynn Noel, Kayden Joseph Noel and Baby Chase; a brother, Richard Carroll and his wife Dorothy of Coco Beach, Florida; a sister, Elizabeth Thompson and her husband Leroy of Saco; many nieces and nephews; and a grand-dog, Kissy Cady.

Visiting hours will be 9- 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 1, at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford. A funeral service will follow at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Biddeford.
