I am writing in support of Jessica Fay as she runs for election to House District 66, in Raymond, Casco and Poland. As I went door to door with Jess over the summer, I found out that this is a gorgeous district, full of lakes, forests and farms. All hidden gems of beauty. I love my house on Main Street in Raymond, but there were several houses along the way for which I might not mind trading. So many of the people we met were really happy to talk with a candidate who was interested in their concerns.

Jess has always listened to mine, and we often agree, but not always.

For example, Jess and I differ on Question 3. She is bothered by the implications of the way it is written, so she will vote no. I am a firm yes. We have had many discussions about this, and what I trust most about her is that she will be considerate and thoughtful in each decision, she knows that most issues aren’t black and white. I know that any vote she makes will reflect much thought and deliberation and research. She will not vote the party line or because it is politically expedient. It will be a refreshing change.

Jessica Fay is a true patriot and thinker who has public service in her blood. She is a volunteer and a small business owner and a good friend. Please join me as I vote for Jess Fay on Nov. 8.
