BOWDOINHAM — Kayla N. Seigars, 30, of the Post Road, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2017, at Maine Medical Center, Portland. She was born on November 1, 1987, in Brunswick, the daughter of Andy Desjardins and Deborah Seigars.

Kayla was a true fighter, she was always admired for her strength and ambitious attitude, there was no challenge that she would not accept. Kayla loved the outdoors, she had an adventurous soul who embraced every moment of life. Making memories with family and friends was something she truly valued.

Among all the things she enjoyed in life, she was well known for her love of fishing, hunting, gatherings with friends and a passion for anything with a motor. Kayla’s life was full of love, she had a caring nature to help others and would never ask for a thing in return.

She had an unforgettable laugh and beautiful smile that filled the hearts of so many. She was driven with dreams that she shared with the love of her life Jason, her children who inspired her and completed every piece of her heart, loving them unconditionally with every breath that she took. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Kayla was predeceased by her mother Deborah Seigars and grandfathers Raymond Seigars, Leroy Smith and Orel Desjardins. She is survived by her significant other Jason Sylvester of Richmond, father Andy Desjardins and stepmother Kim of Bowdoinham, her children Harley Holman of Topsham, Dakota Owen of Bowdoinham, Hunter Sylvester of Richmond, sister Tabatha Lumbert of Richmond, brothers Darrin, Joshua and Brandon Desjardins, all of Bowdoinham, and brother Dustin Barnes of Richmond, grandmothers Sylvia Seigars and Laverne Smith of Richmond, and Joan Goodenow of Bowdoinham, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 27th at 1 p.m. at Forest Hill Cemetery, Dresden. A gathering will follow at Kayla’s parents’ home in Bowdoinham.

Arrangements are under the care of Kincer Funeral Home, 130 Pleasant St., Richmond.
