HALLOWELL

Coming off a hard-fought overtime loss last week to the York Wildcats, the Brunswick High School boys hockey boarded a bus and traveled to the Camden Bank of Maine Ice Vault on Wednesday for a key matchup with Gardiner.

Down 1-0 in the second period, the Dragons rallied for a pair of goals for a big 2- 1 win, giving Brunswick a 7- 9 record heading into Friday’s road contest at Kennebunk (8:30 p.m.).

Jared Hummer tied the game for Brunswick, ripping a shot into the net off an assist from Jacob Doring.

Doring tallied the go-ahead goal a few minutes later, finishing a face-off win from Isaac Burtis.
