Real estate background
In the mid-1990s I worked for several years as a ābuyerās specialist,ā as it was called then, before making a change to raise a family, while helping run a small auto business, and earning my degree in nutrition. I then practiced in the health field for five years.
A few years ago, after I bought and renovated a property in Scarborough, I remember how much I enjoyed working in the industry, and the whole purchasing process. I realized that it was time for a career shift back to real estate, and very happily made the move in 2016.
Buyers and sellers
I work with both, mainly in Greater Portland, but I branch out, too, so I do a ton of research if a market is a bit farther afield. The key is meeting clients wherever they are and wherever they are looking, and whatever theyāre looking for, at price points from under $200,000 to more than $1 million.
In a fast-paced market like this, my role is to deliver complete information and ensure that clients are armed with the knowledge to make the best decisions possible, whether they are listing their home or making an offer.
āA very team approachā
My business background taught me whatās important: to treat every client as well as you would like to be treated. I have high standards in that respect, and RE/MAX Shoreline is a great fit for me. We have a great support staff, and ours is a very team approach in which each of us contributes to our clientsā success.
Maine roots
I grew up in Portland. Iām a (Munjoy) Hill girl, I still have family there, and Iāve always lived in the area. For me, any location near the Maine coast is awesome.
