APACHE JUNCTION, Ariz. — Sharlene G. Howard, was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina on July 7, 1945, to Alfred Loren Oswald and Clara Eva (Marsh) Oswald. Sherry passed away on Aug. 24, 2018, at her home in Apache Junction, Arizona.
She married Richard H. Howard and together they ran The Pour Farm Restaurant and then Soups & Things in Biddeford, Maine. They also ran the concession stand at the paddock at Scarborough Downs for many years.
She was precedeased by her husband, her stepson, Wayne Howard, and her parents.
Sherry is survived by her two stepdaughters, Linda Chasse and her husband, Russell, of Lyman, Maine and Brenda Coyle of Apache Junction, Arizona, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, as well as a sister, Myrna McGinsey and her husband Michael from Louisville, Kentucky and three brothers and their wives, Alven and Terry Oswald of Omaha, Nebraska, Alfred and Connie Oswald of Huntsville, Alabama; and Albert and Andrea Oswald of Merrimack, New Hampshire as well as several nieces and nephews and grandnieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours. The family will gather together in Apache Junction, Arizona at a date to be determined.
