Jeffrey Lind Proctor

LEWISTON – Jeff was born in Saco the middle of eight children born to Robert and Carol Proctor. He grew up in Bar Mills and Raymond, Maine.As a child his blonde hair and dimples added to his devilish character and charm. His favorite things as an adult were family gatherings at Cresent Beach, combing ties pools and holidays at the mountain house where his Mom lived.Family was very important to Jeff and he loved being a father to daughter Alicia, an uncle and grandfather. Jeff was a hard worker and did glasswork for many years in Portland, working as a painter later on. He had a kind heart and drew respect from all who knew him.He married Cathy in 2006. They had many fun family times in their homes in Portland and then Raymond. Every year they went camping for a week, it was the highlight the summer. He loved backyard campfires and his New England Patriots. Between them they had 11 grandchildren.He is survived by his wife Cathy, daughter Alicia, her sister Nikki, step-children John and Joline Schnop. Grandchildren Carmen, Roman, Trinity and Trenton. Also grandchildren; Maddi, JJ and Skylar Schnopp, and Zeke, Xavier, Sylas and Elijah Mason. His siblings; Cherie Garnett and Bryan, Steve, Becky, Annie and Mike Proctor. As well as many nieces and nephews.Services will be at East Auburn Baptist Church, 560 Park Ave, Auburn, Wednesday May 19 at 10 a.m., Private internment will be at Tory Hill Cemetery in Buxton.
