Alice Kilbreth Walker
WINDHAM – Alice Kilbreth Walker, 85, passed away peacefully on Jan. 16, 2026, at Ledgewood Manor in Windham. She was born on August 12, 1940, in Rumford, Maine, to Aubrey Kilbreth and Esther (Frost) Tyler and stepdad Leon F. Tyler.
Alice attended South Portland High School graduating in 1958. Alice and Ronnie were married in South Portland on Dec. 6, 1958.
Alice was a mortgage loan officer at Canal Bank, which later was named Keybank for 51 years before retiring in 2007.
Alice and Ronnie spent many years camping at Kokotosi Campground in Raymond with other neighbors and their families. Ronnie and Alice, and their children, bowled at Northgate Bowl-Arama for many years. One of Alice’s favorite things to do was to watch her grandchildren at their sporting events. She never missed an event. Alice loved knitting, bingo and doing crossword puzzles.
Alice is preceded in death by her parents, and husband of 66 years Ronald C. Walker. She is survived by her two children, son, Craig Walker (Lisa) of Gorham and daughter Lori Cram (Tim) of Gray; four grandchildren, Brent (Cedes), the triplets Ashlee (Colby), Aaron (Jillian) and Caleb (Nicole) Cram; and six-month old great grandson Nikolas (Niko) Bragdon.
Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. – 3 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 24, followed by a funeral service at 3 p.m., at Hobbs Funeral Home, 230 Cottage Road, South Portland. Burial will be in the Spring at Brooklawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Portland.
