David Shaw Chapman
SCARBOROUGH – David Shaw Chapman of Scarborough, Maine, passed away unexpectedly on Jan. 19, 2026.
David was owner of Southern Maine Contracting and always full of boundless energy, laughter and enthusiasm in both his business, his life with family and friends and his many hobbies.
David was predeceased by his parents Barbara and Roland Chapman and his great nephew David Butler III. He is survived by his partner, Mary Nicolantonio; his daughter Tara Gassett; and his grandchildren.
Celebration of life will be April 12 at the Elks Lodge, Portland.
