Doris Tripp

WINDHAM – Doris “Dolly” L. Tripp, 85, formerly of Windham, passed Thursday, Nov. 20, 2025, at Clover Manor in Auburn.

She was born on Jan. 3, 1940, in Raymond, to the late Roy and Elizabeth (Walker) Raynor. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Roger N. Tripp, and her dear sisters Dorothy Turner (her twin) of Raymond and Maxine Raynor of Scarborough, and two brothers who had lived in Louisiana for many years.

She is survived by her two daughters, Terri LaClaire and Randy and Anita White and Arthur; grandchildren Nathaniel LaClaire, Alissa LaClaire Strout and Adam, Eliza LaClaire Ring and Jameson, Arelia White, Juhsaun White and Jahon White; and three great granddaughters. Doris is also survived by several nieces and nephews to whom she was very close.

Doris was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She lived to make her family feel celebrated at every holiday and birthday. She loved shopping and surprising friends and family with special gifts. She loved eating out, traveling, swimming in pools or lakes or oceans, spending weekends at Old Orchard Beach with her sisters, and doing absolutely anything her grandchildren would enjoy.

Doris was also a businesswoman. She was dedicated to her work and always sought to do her best. Other than the example it set for her family, this is not what she will be remembered for. We will remember her love and the support she always gave us and the times we were able to spend with her.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Doris on May 16, 2026, at Poland Baptist Church, 874 Maine St. (Rte 26), Poland, at 10 a.m. followed by an internment for family only.

Arrangements are in the care of the Hall Funeral Home in Casco where condolences and tributes may be shared at http://www.hallfuneralhome.net.
