Timothy M. Smith
BRUNSWICK – Timothy M. Smith passed away unexpectedly on June 2, 2026, after a valiant effort by medical staff to revive him. He was an implant to Maine, serving at Brunswick Naval Air Station, his last port of call in his 25-year Navy career. He will be remembered for his infectious laugh which made everyone who heard it smile, and for constantly picking on Deborah, his wife of 43 years. He enjoyed family get- togethers, and playing golf on his PS5 with his Lil Buddy.
Timothy was predeceased by his father Ellery, his mom JimmyLou, his brother Fred, sister Tanya, and his loyal canine companion Reggie.
He is survived by his stepdad Ron, and brothers Ronnie and Mark and nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his loving wife Deborah, and his daughter’s Dionne, Heather, Jessica and Tia, their spouses Chuck, Joe and John. His grandkids, Cheyenne, Carey, Alexandria, Dylan, Jasmine, Marissa and Dmitri, and the extra we grabbed along the way Zach.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 20, at the family’s residence. A time has yet to be determined. We will celebrate him how he would have wanted; with food, music, laughter, and in the true Tim spirit of smoke.
Arrangements are under the care of Brackett Funeral Home. To offer condolences and share fond memories please visit http://www.brackettfh.com to view Tim’s online memorial.
