Michael C. Risbara
PORTLAND – Michael C. Risbara,72, of Portland, passed away on Friday, Feb. 13, 2026 after a long illness. He was born in Portland on April 1, 1953, to John and Mildred Risbara. Mike was raised in Westbrook and attended Westbrook High School, graduating in 1971. He came from a generation of hard workers and was very skilled in many areas. Mike retired from Saunders Brothers in Westbrook.
Mike was an outdoorsman. He loved hunting, fishing, boating and camping. He enjoyed going to his camp with family and friends. If anyone needed help at camp, Mike was the guy you went to. He had a heart of gold and would do anything to help anyone.
Mike loved his family and was dedicated to their well being. He loved spending time with his sons, Jason and Kettric and all of his grandchildren. He’ll be missed beyond measure.
Mike is predeceased by his father: John Risbara; brother John Risbara Jr.; and sister, Dianne Risbara Bennett.
Mike is survived by his mother Mildred Risbara; sons, Jason Risbara (Jessica), Kettic Risbara (Abigail) and six grandchildren. Siblings, Peter Risbara (Claudia), Susan Risbara Pecoraro and partner Brent Matchett and Joseph Risbara (Debra). He leaves behind many friends, nieces, nephews, cousins and special uncle George.
Services will be private at Evergreen Cemetery in Portland.
