Animal welfare gift part of $4,650 given to nonprofits

SIS Bank recently donated $1,100 to the Animal Welfare Society as a result of the Bank’s “Home Runs for Good” campaign. During the last five months, a total of $4,650 was contributed to various nonprofit organizations throughout the area.

The bank also donated $500 to the Kiwanis Club of Sanford as part of the bank’s employee donation program.

Each month the SIS president randomly selects an employee, who then picks a local nonprofit organization that is meaningful to them to receive the $500 gift. Employee Patti Thibeault designated the Kiwanis Club. Thibeault, a loan underwriter and processor at the SIS main office, is a longtime member of the local Kiwanis club.
