A Massachusetts man died Sunday in Maine’s seventh fatal snowmobile crash this year.
Dennis Picard, 60, of South Chatham, was killed when he failed to make a sharp turn along a trail in Eustis as he followed his group, the Maine Warden Service said.
Paramedics pronounced Picard dead at the scene.
The Maine Medical Examiner’s Office will examine the body. The incident remains under investigation by the warden service.
Six people have died since Jan. 2 in other crashes in Windham, Oakland, Piscataquis County, Buxton, Sidney and Newport.
