There’s a new natural foodie in Portland.

Columnist Avery Yale Kamila gave birth to her first child on March 3 at Mercy Hospital.

Named Alden Axel McClellan Hill, the baby boy weighed 7 pounds, 15 ounces and was 22½ inches long at birth. Mom says the baby is “healthy, happy and perfect.”

She added that “he has a very hearty appetite. His dad and I couldn’t be more pleased.”
