PORTLAND — The Portland Public Library will host a forum about e-books and e-readers on Friday from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Rines Auditorium.
“E-book Sandbox: Embracing a New Way of Reading” will address common questions about e-readers, and library staff will demonstrate how to the use the state’s Overdrive e-book lending system, which has about 2,000 e-books available for free.
Representatives from Barnes & Noble, Borders and Apple will also be present.
