Guidance counselor Gretchen McCloy, left, shares healthy eating techniques with teacher Morrigan Burns and other colleagues as part of the LetsGo.org 5-2-1-0 health inititiative last week at Cape Elizabeth Middle School. “The idea is that we should learn and implement healthy choices in our lifestyle, so as to provide through our actions a good example to our students,” McCloy said. The 5-2-1-0 regimen is five fresh vegetables a day, two hours or less recreational screen time, one hour of physical fitness and zero sugar-sweetened beverages.
