A Chesterville man is dead following a one-car accident in Gorham that occurred shortly after 9:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Eugene Mosher, 77, of 24 Wilton Road, was pronounced dead at Maine Medical Center after his vehicle overturned at the intersection of Main Street and Gray Road, according to Sgt. Benjamin Moreland of the Gorham Police Department.
Mosher’s wife, Winona Mosher, 65, was in the vehicle at the time of the accident. She sustained minor injuries, police said. Both occupants were wearing seatbelts, according to Moreland.
It is suspected the crash was caused when the driver suffered medical trauma, Moreland said. However, police are still investigating the incident.
