Scarborough police are searching for a man they say robbed a hotel at gunpoint Saturday night.
According to police, the man entered the Homewood Suites on Southborough Drive at about 7:30 p.m. Saturday. He allegedly showed the clerk behind the service desk a handgun, and demanded cash. He fled on foot with an undisclosed amount.
Police said the suspect is white, in his mid- to late 20s, approximately 5 feet, 7 inches tall, with dark hair and stubbly facial hair. He was wearing blue jeans and a dark, zippered and hooded sweatshirt with a white and red design on the front.
No one was hurt during the incident.
