July 30-Aug. 1: Schoolhouse Arts Center at Sebago Lake will present “Aladdin Junior.” Performances will be held on Friday at 7 p.m., Saturday at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m., and Sunday at 2 p.m. Reservations can be made by calling 642-3743 or www.schoolhousearts.org. Saturday, July 31: Returning to the historic Windham Hill UCC Church, at 140 Windham Center Road in Windham, the Royal River Philharmonic Jazz Band offers up traditional “two-beat” New Orleans Dixieland music in the style of the great New Orleans Jazz bands at 7 p.m. Band members include Eric Anderson on tuba, Bill Rayne on trombone, Jeff Grosser on banjo, Paul Monat on cornet, Robert Pillsbury on clarinet, and Olin Sawyer on piano. Concert tickets are $12 for adults; $8 for seniors and 12-and-under. For concert reservations, call 893-1688 or 892-7420. Following the concert, come meet the performers and enjoy some refreshments, all over in the Fellowship Hall at Windham Hill UCC.

July 31: Naples For The Arts Show and Sale will be held on the Naples Causeway, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. 150 artist booths will display all sorts of art for public display. FMI, www.naplesforthearts.com. Rain date Aug. 1.

July 31: Saint Joseph’s College invites the community to a mid-summer celebration of the farming season at its Pearson Town Farm from 11a.m. to 3 p.m. Square-foot and raised-bed gardening demonstrations at 11a.m., a home composting tutorial at 1 p.m., and a discussion on planting for autumn harvest at 2 p.m. The event will also include activities in the “kinder-garden,” a place where kids can play and search for the end of the “bottomless mud pit.” Free-range chickens, sheep, and a llama that guards the sheep. Farm-fresh produce will be for sale and refreshments will be served. The farm is located behind the stone barns at 289 Whites Bridge Road. July 31: The Gray Historical Society will be hosting one of the three annual meetings of the Maine Old Cemetery Association at the First Congregational Church Parish Hall. Registration is at 9 a.m. with an entry fee of $3. Non-members are welcome. Lunch buffet is $9 with reservation made no later than July 16. Aug. 7: “Savesebagocove” is hosting its Second Annual Milfoil Fundraiser on from 5-11:30 p.m. (dinner served 5-9 p.m.). Tickets are available online at $20 a ticket (13 and under get in free). There will be a pig roast and live music featuring: No Dice, No Real Neighbors, and Jeroba Jump. Raffles and free giveaways! Money raised will combat milfoil in Sebago Cove. Aug. 7-8: Honor the Animals Native American Pow Wow is being held at the Maine Wildlife Park on Route 26 in Gray from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Representatives of several Maine & New England tribes will be at the park for two full days with native dancers, drummers, craft vendors, singers and traditional food booths. Representatives of the Maine Abenaki, MicMac & Passamaquoddy tribes will be in attendance as vendors and presenters, and Native Americans from other New England states are expected to attend in full regalia.
