A 17-year-old female, South Portland, on Cape Woods Drive for unlawful possession of scheduled drugs, illegal transportation of drugs by a minor, possession of usable amount of marijuana and sale and use of drug paraphernalia.

Fire and Rescue

Between May 1 and May 7, the Cape Elizabeth Rescue squad transported three patients to Mercy Hospital and nine to Maine Medical Center.

On May 1, at around 3 p.m., the fire department responded to a line down investigation on Woodland Road.

On May 2, at around 2:20 p.m., the fire department responded to an alarm sounding on Dyer Pond Road.

On May 3, at around 8:30 a.m., the fire department responded to a furnace problem on Fowler Road.

On May 3, at around 9 a.m., the fire department responded to a vehicle fire on Vernon Road.

Tote check

On May 1, at around 4:15 p.m., a resident of Brunswick reported a motor vehicle burglary at Crescent Beach State Park. Taken from the vehicle was a leather tote containing a purse, a driver’s license, credit cards and approximately $50.

Electric shock

On May 2, at around 2 p.m., a resident of the Shore Acres area reported having sold some electronics to a subject from Saco. The subject paid with a personal check that bounced. A check with Saco Police Department indicated they were familiar with the subject, who has a history of passing bad checks. The subject had been staying at a motel in their city but police were unsure of his whereabouts.

Take a bike

On May 4, at around 4 p.m., a resident of the Shore Road area reported a stolen bicycle. The bike is described as a red Giant Rincon moutain bike with 24-inch tires. Bike is valued at $350.

The park after dark

On May 5, at around 11 p.m., a park manager at Two Lights State Park reported the sound of kids partying in the park. Eleven juveniles were located around a camp site with a 30-pack of beer. They were all given verbal trespass warnings and two of them were issued summonses.
