The Lakes Region Senior Center has announced it has a new location confirmed for an interim home until construction to the Little Falls School has been completed in the spring of 2014.

New doors open at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 3, at Sunset Ridge Golf Links, 771 Cumberland St. (River Road), Westbrook. There will be plenty of room for parking and the space is large enough to accommodate all activities.

It will be open from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Pickleball will be available on the outdoor court, as will coffee, tea and socializing. And the puzzle table will be active every day.

Members are working to organize their activities. On Monday, there will be cribbage and independent activities. Tuesday will feature needlework, crafts, poker at 10 a.m. and card games of choice. On Wednesday, there will be a 10 a.m. weight support group and chair yoga exercise at 10:45 a.m.

Bingo and monthly luncheons will be scheduled soon. This is a drop-in center, so visitors are welcome to see the new location.
