The Lakes Region Congressional Forum featuring Democratic candidates for the 1st Congressional District seat will be held Sunday, March 30 at the Windham Friends Church on Route 202.

The evening will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a chance to meet the candidates lasting until 7 p.m. The forum will directly follow a Cumberland County Democratic Committee meeting

that beginning at 5:30.

From 7-9, a forum moderated by Malory Shaughnessy will include brief opening remarks byt he candidates, then questions for the candidates including those collected from the audience.

The froum will conclude with a dessert auction. Candidates are asked to bring a dessert that best represents or in some way embodies who they are and what they will bring to Congress or their vision for America.

Candidates will be asked to explain the connection between themselves and the dessert and then auction it off, with all proceeds going to the Windham Democratic Town Committee.
