Lauren Campbell, of the Memorial Middle School Band in South Portland, performs Saturday morning at the Westbrook High School gymnasium. The band, directed by Jean Quinn, was one of many to compete in the 2008 MMEA Maine State Middle School Jazz Festival. Memorial’s band won second place in its division.
