Michael Astbury of South Portland graduated magna cum laude from St. Joseph’s College, Standish, on May 12. He also earned the Management Award for being the senior in the management major with the highest cumulative grade point average.

He was one of nine local students graduating St. Joseph’s. The others include:

Patrick Mileski, Cape Elizabeth; John Burke, Scarborough; and, from South Portland, Caitlin Connolly, Christopher Eastman,

Kathleen Foster, Sean Gillespie, Tabitha Glanville and Katheryn Simpson.
