Like father, like son-Cape Elizabeth coach Jim Ray (left) has coached the boys varsity basketball team for 14 years, and for the last four years, that team has included his son Tommy (right). While fooling around in the Cape gym last week, the elder Ray was asked if he could spin a basketball like his son. He laughed and said “are you kidding? I’m the one who taught him to do that,” and then he proceeded to show off his own ball-spinning skills.
