Levinsky’s has moved to a new location in Windham, prompting a stirring of memories for long-time customers of the 86-year-old retailer. “Customers are telling us it’s reminiscent of the first store on Congress Street in Portland with its wood floors, size and a storefront with parking,” said owner Eric Levinsky. Levinsky’s moved Oct. 16 from the Windham Mall to a larger, stand-alone building on Route 302 in Windham, the former Aubuchon Hardware. Courtesy photos
