Community club hosting potluck
The North Pownal Community Club is hosting its monthly potluck supper on Saturday, Aug. 9, at 5:30 p.m.
The public is always invited. Those attending should bring a food item to share, plate, cup and utensils and look forward to socializing with neighbors. The club is particularly proud of recent improvements to both the interior and exterior of the building and they invite the public to come see those changes. The improvements were made thanks to many generous donations of time and resources from community members. Most recently, the club held a yard sale that raised close to $2,000, which will enable members to continue the repair and preservation efforts on their historic building.
