NEW HIRES

• Eleanor Pouliot joined Trend Setters Salon in Falmouth. Pouliot has 25 years of experience as a salon owner and colorist. She is a past president of the Blackstone, Mass., chapter of the Cosmetology Association.

• Jeffrey Burnham joined Kennebunk Savings as vice president, residential lending manager/CRA officer. Burnham, of Arundel, has an extensive background in residential lending that includes business development, sales management, risk management, product development and compliance. 

• Sharon Hartl, an occupational therapist, was named director of therapy operations at New England Rehabilitation Hospital. Hartl, of Scarborough, has held progressive positions as occupational therapist, stroke program leader and occupational therapy clinical leader.

• Mark Stevanovic joined Baird as a senior vice president of its new wealth management office in Portland. Stevanovic, of Falmouth, has 15 years of experience in the industry. Most recently, he oversaw Morgan Stanley Smith Barney’s two offices in Portland and Bangor.

• Greg Dumais was hired as vice president of sales for SecureRMS, a social enterprise of Waban of Sanford. Dumais, of Lewiston, has previously worked in sales management positions at Niagara Bottling, Pineland Farms and at Oakhurst Dairy.

• Dr. Jacquelyn Cawley was promoted to associate chief medical officer at MaineHealth. For the past three years, Cawley has served as senior medical director for clinical integration at MaineHealth.

AWARDS and RECOGNITION

• Oakhurst Dairy received an honorable mention for outstanding dairy processing and manufacturing sustainability from the Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy.

Oakhurst Dairy was recognized for its formal sustainability program, which has set 20 percent reduction goals across aspects of the operation by 2014. From 2008 to 2010, Oakhurst reduced its plant energy use, greenhouse gas emissions, water use and transportation fuel use by roughly 10 percent each, almost halfway to its 2014 goals.

BOARD APPOINTMENTS

• Richard Barry Hall of Portland was elected to another three-year term on the American Board of Vocational Experts. He is the national credentialing chairperson for the organization.

• Andrew Bossie, executive director of Maine Citizens for Clean Elections, was appointed to the board of directors of Frannie Peabody Center. Bossie serves as MCCE’s first full-time executive director. Prior to joining MCCE, he served as executive director of the Maine AIDS Alliance.

• Peter Daigle, chief operating officer of Lafayette Properties, will be recognized with Maine Tourism’s Hall of Fame Award at a luncheon May 18 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Freeport. He joined Lafayette Hotels in 1994 and has helped guide the company’s expansion from four hotels to 29 hotels.
