Jim Walsh and Penny Jordan will be vying for the Cape Elizabeth Town Council seat that Mary Ann Lynch vacated shortly before the Nov. 4 election.
Lynch resigned as chairwoman on the Cape Elizabeth Town Council in October after she took a job as director of information for the state judiciary. The judiciary’s code of ethics prohibits Lynch from holding elected office. She had been on the Town Council for seven years.
The election will be Tuesday, Jan. 27, from 7 a.m to 8 p.m.
