Fire and Rescue

Between Oct. 17 and Oct. 21, the Cape Elizabeth Rescue squad transported seven patients to Maine Medical Center.

On Oct. 19, at around 5:45 p.m., the fire department responded to a fire alarm on Sea View Road.

Shooting after sunset

On Oct. 16, police met with a resident of the Wells Road area who wanted to make a written noise complaint about shooting at the rod and gun club at around 6:15 p.m. on Oct. 14. A club rule is that there is no shooting after sunset. Police contacted a club representative and the people involved.

Stolen canoe

On Oct. 17, at around 3 p.m., I, a resident of Shore Road reported his canoe was stolen from the Great Pond area. The canoe is valued at $100.

Driveway robbery

On Oct. 18, at around 7 p.m., a resident of the Shore Acres area reported a motor vehicle burglary. Taken from unlocked vehicles in the driveway during the night were an iPod valued at $200 and a Swiss Army knife valued at $50.
