Edward C. Kelleher, a resident of Scarborough, has been nominated to the Unemployment Insurance Commission, Gov. John Baldacci announced.

Kelleher, who has been retired for a year, served for 21 years on the administrative team for the state’s Judicial branch. He was a state legislator from 1969 to 1984, representing Bangor.

The nomination will undergo committee review and face Senate confirmation.
