Ashley P Barker, Cape Elizabeth High School class of 2003, was named to the Hobart and William Smith College dean’s list for the fall semester.

Also during the fall, Barker capped off her college field hockey career at the Geneva, N.Y., college, with a trip to Maine to play at Bowdoin College in the NCAA Div III Field Hockey Tournament. William Smith beat Middlebury, but fell to Bowdoin in the quarterfinal. As a starting forward and one of the top scorers on the team, Barker contributed 13 goals and 4 assists this year.
