Reminder
The Rebekahs will hold a yard sale July 15-16 at the Odd Fellows Hall from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. You may rent a table for $10 per day. To do so, call 892-6686 or 893-2430. There will also be a quilt sale in the hall. These quilts were all made by Marge Hansen. The Windham Historical Society will also have a table there. If you would like to donate something to the society please call 655-3421 or 650-7484.
Meeting
The Lake Region Shriners will meet at Charlie Beiggs Restaurant July 18. The dinner is at 5 p.m. and members may bring their spouses.
Birthday
Barbara Muir celebrated her birthday, July 8. She enjoyed a lobster dinner and homemade ice cream with her husband, Bob.
Closed
The Windham Food Pantry is closed Thursday mornings for the summer. It will re-open Thursdays from 9 to 10 a.m. on October 2.
Meeting
The Windham Wheelers ATV club will meet July 18 at 7 p.m. in the East Windham Fire Barn. The club is also going to hold a charity ride and you can call the above numbers for more info.
Senior Trip
Tuesday, July 25, the senior citizens will take a trip to Old Fort Western in Augusta. There is a great deal of walking involved. Lunch is to be determined. They will leave at 9:30 a.m. and return between 4 and 5 p.m. The cost is $6, for more information call 892-1905.
Cook-Out
Joanne and Lew Weatherby attended a July 4 cook-out at the cottage of her parents, Paul and Betty Estes. Other invited guests were: Sue and Steve Day, Will and Gracie Dove, and Alesha, Madison and Miller Buzzell. Relatives Ken and Judy Smith of Nova Scotia crashed the party later in the day. A good time was had by all, even the party crashers.
