The Cape Elizabeth High School library will close for renovations on Friday, Dec. 16, and will reopen Friday, Jan. 6. The library will be inaccessible to students for seven days, since winter break runs from Dec. 23 through Jan. 3.

All shelves and books will be removed in order to replace the carpeting, ceiling and lighting. Left-over funds from the high school and kindergarten renovation projects were re-directed and used for the library renovation said Superintendent Alan Hawkins.
