How do you celebrate Father’s Day?

Andrea Pelletier, 52, Windham

“My husband, Richard, passed away in 1999 so we put flowers on his grave, same with his father. And we reminisce on both of them and some of the funny things they did when they were living. The memories are still there.”

Autumn Cody, 18, Windham

“My dad is so busy at K&K Crafts so usually I just slip down during dinner and give him a card and a gift and try to have dinner with him.”

Kathleen Firth, 50, Standish

“I usually go out with my kids’ dad to lunch. I’m from Britain and we do have Father’s Day there as well.”

Jeff Harvey, 43, Limington

“I go to Laconia Bike Week on Father’s Day – every year. It’s the last day of Bike Week. Usually my wife goes with me and sometimes my kids.”

Heather Staley, 21, Falmouth

“I’m going to be making my father, Steve, dinner. It’s a tradition. He usually gets the day off from everything. I’m making him spaghetti and meatballs, his favorite because he’s Italian. I also found him a funny T-shirt with ‘Bank of Dad’ on it. I get money from him. He’s my personal ATM.”

John Shively, 16, Raymond

“We usually buy him a funny card, make him food, and we go shooting together.”
