This device, situated on the Freeport Middle School soccer field, holds what Principal Ray Grogan calls the “rain train.” – a big sprinkler that can shoot water in about a 100-foot radius.  It also can be set to start on one end of the field and go to the other end of the field over about six hours.

Li’s Chinese Express on Bow Street in Freeport was busy as usual one recent afternoon.

An excavator operated by Ron Dube, foreman for Durham Public Works, does some ditching work on Rabbit Road last week.
