Project Grad donations needed
The 2017 Project Graduation Committee is in need of donations from the community for its March hosting of their version of The Price is Right game show.  Items needed are needed to raffle and for contestants to bid on while on stage. PTA Reflections Program
Once again Windham PTA will sponsor the Reflecions Program for grades K-12, offerng students the opportunity to earn local, state and even national recognition for original artwork they create in response to a specific theme. This years theme is “What is Your Story?” There are four categories to choose from: Literacy, Visual Arts, Photography & Music Composition. Last year, four Windham students were recognized at the state level. Prizes are awarded to top winners. The deadline for early submissions is Friday, Nov. 18. Rules can be found at www.windham.k12.me.us/PTA/1617ReflectionsNationalRules.pdf or at school offices. Prizes will be awarded to the top winners. Crafts fair Saturday
The Raymond Friendship Group will host a Homespun Holiday Craft/Food Sale on Saturday Nov. 5, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Raymond Fire Safety Building. A children’s table with face painting will also be there for kid-friendly fun. All proceeds go to helping local families in need.

Church holiday happenings and help
The Raymond Village Church is once again making Thanksgiving Food Baskets for those in need. They are seeking gift cards to grocery stores to purchase the additional goods they need. If you are able to donate, please contact Andy Morrison at [email protected].

Also, the church’s Holiday Fair is coming up on Saturday, Nov. 19, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The fair has something for everyone for Thanksgiving and Christmas: centerpieces, wreaths, crafts, homemade food, silent auction, new/lovingly used Christmas decor, Avon, jewelry, maple syrup and more! Bring your friends and family for breakfast and lunch.

Volunteers – crafters, bakers and set up/take down – are needed. If you are able to contribute or want more information on a table, contact Carol Gilman at 627-5073.

At the Library

Author Monica Wood will discuss her book, “The One in a Million Boy,” from 6:30-8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, at the Raymond Village Library. Books will be available for purchase and signing.

You asked and they delivered. The library can now accept credit cards. They can process both chip and magnetic carads, which may be used to purchase some used books, make a donation, purchase a holiday basket  All information is encrypted and secure and you can rest assured your privacy is safe.

Phil ‘n the Blanks will perform at the Galley Restaurant this Friday, Nov. 4, from 7-9 p.m. Emily and Phil Allen, above, have been performing together for years, presenting a variety of songs from oldies to classic to current. They are excited to be at a local venue just a few miles past the Raymond line on Route 302.
