South Portland softball coach Ralph Aceto earned his 100th career victory Saturday when the Red Riots won at Deering in five-innings, 27-3. Aceto is now 100-17 with the program. He coached South Portland from 2009-15 and returned to the Red Riots this spring. Aceto led South Portland to Western Class A championships in 2010 and 2012 and to the program’s first state championship in 2010. He was named Forecaster Coach of the Year in both 2009 and 2010.
