Pineland event canceled

The Winter Family Fitness Day at Pineland Farms that was scheduled for today, has been canceled and will not be rescheduled.

Prom donations needed

The South Portland Recreation Department and main library are looking for donations of prom dresses for the annual prom dress swap, held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 24 at the South Portland Community Center.

Dresses for any special formal occasion will be accepted. Donors will be automatically registered for next month’s swap. 

If you don’t have a dress to donate, but would like to attend the event, the cost is $10 to register.
Donations will be accepted through March 16. Donated dresses must be no more than five years old and in like-new condition.
