Author Mary Jo McConahay will speak about her book, “Maya Roads,” in a special Monday edition of the Portland Public Library’s Brown Bag Lecture Series. In the book, McConahay draws on her three decades of traveling and living in Central America to chronicle the people, the politics and the nature of the Central American rain forest. People are invited to bring their lunches.
