KENNEBUNPORT — For the very first time, alumni from Kennebunk High School will participate in the Christmas Prelude by providing a luncheon at the Consoliated School on Saturday, Dec. 2.

According to Kennebunk Kennebunkport Alumni Association President Rebecca Gosselin, the menu for the luncheon includes hot dogs, chili, corn chowder, sandwiches, coffee, cold drinks and desserts.

Gosselin said that proceeds from the luncheon will benefit the KKAA Scholarship Fund.

“The officers and the board of directors all work very hard all year on several fundraising projects so this time we thought we would request the help of the many alumni of KHS in Kennebunk and Kennebunkport in defraying the cost of all of the food for this project by sending us a donation and thus making it more profitable to the Scholarship Fund.”

Gosselin said that the alumni sent out an annual letter last spring let members know that dues and reservations can be made to the group’s annual banquet.

“But dues can be paid anytime during the year,” she said. “It is with the help of many that make our Scholarship Fund the success that it is to the graduating seniors of KHS.”

She said that donations can be sent to KKAA, P.O. Box 272, Kennebunk, ME 04043.
